The furnace's heat runs from 0 to 100 and drops over time. Feed coke into the stove (+10 heat per load), and work the pump and pedals (+3 per crank). Or pay the coffer: 500 coins a minute keeps it hot for you.
Bars wait in the bar dispenser, and stay there if you log out. They need 20 seconds to cool, or you can take them straight away wearing ice gloves (300 points in the Skilling Point Shop).
