Play in your browser

The full 2006 game in a browser tab — no download, no Java install, no plugin. Open the browser client and create your account from the in-game login screen.

Windows — Java bundled

A zip with Java already inside, so there is nothing else to install. Extract it anywhere and run Play-Tristans2006Launcher.bat. Download for Windows.

macOS, Linux, or your own Java

The launcher on its own. Put it in its own folder — it downloads the game cache beside itself — and run it with java -jar Tristans2006Launcher.jar. Needs Java 11 or newer. Download the launcher.

What you need to know

• It is free. Every skill, boss, minigame and area — no membership tier, and nothing in the store sells combat power.
• No account needed to download. You create your character from the login screen once the client opens.
• Keep the launcher in its own folder: it downloads the game cache next to itself.
• It updates itself, so this is a one-time download.
