Mechanics
Everything in the cove sits in a whirlpool; use Disturb to raise it. In the Kraken's chamber, disturb the four small whirlpools first to raise the tentacles. Only then will the big whirlpool raise the Kraken. A fishing explosive thrown on the big whirlpool raises the Kraken and all four tentacles at once.
Bring magic. Melee cannot reach the Kraken or its tentacles, and ranged deals only a seventh of its damage. Their attacks are typeless, so no protection prayer helps: bring food.
