ASHMARCH

Agility

Five working courses from the Gnome Stronghold at level 1 to the Werewolf course at 60, with the Agility Pyramid paying the most per lap from 30. Run energy never runs out, so Agility is all XP and shortcuts.

Agility is trained on obstacle courses. Every obstacle pays XP as you clear it, and finishing a full lap adds a lap bonus on top. The XP on this page is base XP before your game mode's rate: 5x on Regular and every Ironman mode (see Game Modes).

Run energy never runs out on Ashmarch. Agility is trained for the XP, the shortcuts and the unlocks rather than to run further.

Gnome Stronghold (level 1) is the only course below 30, and nothing on it can fail.

The Agility Pyramid (level 30), in the Kharidian Desert south of Pollnivneach, climbs four floors of gaps, ledges, planks and walls. Reaching the top pays a 540 XP bonus and a Pyramid top. A lap takes longer than on the other courses, but no course pays more XP per lap.

The Barbarian Outpost course opens at 35, and the Werewolf course at 60: climb down the trapdoor just east of Canifis. The Werewolf course only checks your Agility level. The Wilderness course (level 52) is deep in the Wilderness at levels 53 to 56, where other players can attack you.

Slipping

Some obstacles on the harder courses can make you slip. You take 1 to 3 damage (never enough to kill you), stop for a moment and have to try that obstacle again, but you keep your lap progress. The chance falls as your level rises and reaches zero 30 levels above the course's requirement. Boosted levels count.

Shortcuts and Unlocks

Agility also opens shortcuts around the world. They give no XP, except the monkey bars, but save a lot of walking.

Graceful and Other Boosts

The Graceful outfit adds 2% Agility XP per piece, so the full six-piece set adds 12%. Buy it with skilling points at the Skilling Point Shop, opened from a button on the Information tab: hood 225, cape 225, top 300, legs 275, gloves 175 and boots 200, or 1,400 points for the set. Graceful cannot be traded.

Skilling points come from levelling any skill: 1 point per level up to 29, then 2 per level from 30, 3 from 60 and 5 from 90. Taking one skill from 1 to 99 earns 228 points.

Boosts multiply together. While Agility is the rotating bonus XP skill (+30% for 30 minutes), a Regular account in full Graceful earns 5 × 1.3 × 1.12 = 7.28 times base XP.
